Choose 3 locations for your collection cards that will not get a lot of human interference for a minimum of a 24-hour period. 4. Write your names and the location where you will be placing the card on the back of the card. 5. Once you have chosen the location you will be placing the card or slide, decide how you will attach your card to this location (tape, string or clothespins). 6. Attach the cards to the three locations you have chosen in the neighborhood. 7. After a minimum of 24 hours return to your cards and take them down. 8. Place your 5 mm grid paper on the non-sticky side of the card so that it shows through the packing tape. 9. Using the magnifying glass, count and calculate the number of particulates in each 5 mm grid for a total area of 3cm2. 10. What happens during these steps

These Steps are those which will help in setting up an experiment to Conduct an Air Quality Test and to find the amount of Particulate Matter. During these steps we are making an area to collect the Particulate Matter in this case card is used. To collect the Particulate Matter we are taping one side so that they get collected on the sticky part and one of the side is left undistubed (for minimum 24 hours). Then a location of your choice is decided and then the card is placed. After 24 hours we are placing a grip paper so that it shows the sticky part and then placing it on a microscope to see the Particulate Matter on the grid and then count them and then develop charts and graphs for the experiment. Wec can also Compare the result of other student and can say that at diifrent locatiom numer of Particulate Matter will be diffrent.
