i)The possibilities of the installation of a hydel station for sultanate of oman are quite high as we have Wadi Dayqah Dam in Oman which is an symbol of excellence towards the Hydel station and this an excellent working hydel station while Oman is blesses with many natural streams of flow there are planning of more dams and hydro structure as a hydel station to be setup in future so the possibilities are very good.

ii)As most of the streams throughout the Oman are perennial in nature and blessed with very good volume of flow by the mother nature throughout the year so we can use conventional impoundment station in which water is retained by the hydraulic retaining structures and then used for electricity production.

Site is suitable where the high flow is noticed and hydel station can setup near by the hydraulic structure
