A new road need to be constructed to connect Jalan Ampang and Jalan Tun Razak. After a
thorough study by an engineer, it is found that, the equal tangent vertical curve has to be
designed with initial grade of 3% and final grade of 1%. Due to an intersection with an existing
roadway, this new roadway at station 350+650 must be at an elevation of 164 m in order to
provide sufficient headroom for heavy vehicles. Given station PVI is at 350+250 and its
elevation is 160 m. Identify the stations of the curve by setting them out every 200 m.
