Answer #1

A) Answer:

During thre distillation process, The liquid becomes in to vapour and it condence in to liquid as a drops while passing through the condenser.

1) According to the GayLussac's law the pressure is directly praportional to the Temperature.

During the condensation of the vapour the accumilation of the vapour takes place and the temperature shows more. While the condensation is going the vapour pressure is decreases in the condenser and the Teperature also decreases.

2) If the kinetic energy of the molecules increases, The temperature decreases.

B) Answer:

Ethyl acetate boiling point = 77 C

n-Butyl acetate boiling point = 126 C.

The Boiling point of the Ethyl acetate is less hence its vapour phase and the liquid phase both are more during the distillation process.
