Enthalpy of dissociation to dissociate Br2 to Br

Ionisation energy to convert Rb to its cationic form.

Electron affinity to convert Br to its anionic form.

U is the lattice energy which is the energy released when ionic forms combine together to form a compound as happened here.

Enthalpy of formation is the some up of all the factors. Also mentioned below in the image
