I am having trouble finding some pKa values for a lab I am doing. Does anyone know the pKa values for: Sodium hydrogen oxalate, trans-crotonic, sodium hydrogen tartrate, 2-furoic acid

Answer #1

For sodium salts you need to check the second pKa of that particular acid.

For Crotonic acid, the pKa is 4.69.

For Sodium Hydrogen Oxalate, you need to check for the pKa2(second ionisation) value of oxalic acid, which is 4.19.

Similarly pKa2 for tartaric acid is 4.34, which will be the case for sodium hydrogen tartarate.

pKa for 2-furoic acid is 3.12.

All of these values are for standard temperature(ie.25 degree celsius). It might change for other temparatures.

I have a linear regression project for class and am having trouble doing the T-test. I gathered data and now I'm just wondering how I would determine my hypothesis. Is it based on a p-value, do I have to find the t-statistic? I'm confused as in given problems the hypothesis is given? I know the level of significance is .10, so would that be my hypothesis (ho: beta =.10)?

Hi, I'm having trouble with a lab question. The lab is about Bound Quantum States in Potential Wells The lab is using this simulation: https://phet.colorado.edu/en/simulation/legacy/bound-states Using the square well and adjusting the potential depth (I think this means altering the height, width, right?), the question I am having trouble answering is this: Does the wavefunction or the probability density ever “leave” the confines of the potential well?
