a. Which error influences the accuracy of your "final answer" more? Making a 1% mistake in making up the original succinic acid solution or overshooting the endpoint by 1% in one of your titrations? Explain.

b. Which value is more accurate the theoretical or experimental? Explain.

Homework Answers

Answer #1

A).In my opinion making a 1% mistake in making up the original succinic acid solution can lead to more error than overshooting the endpoint by 1% as making a 1% mistake in making up succinic acid solution can lead to some other value of endpoint.

B)Theoritical value are more accurate than experimental value as there comes many factors during experiments which influences the experimental value.Theoritical value is the value obtained when the experiment is performed at ideal conditions.
