Answer #1

Washing of cuvette always depend on the compond you are using for recording data. It can be organic compound which are always soluble in organic solvents. In case of organic compunds forst cuvette should washed with acetone atleast 6-7 times, again acid wash with dil HCL and then thorough rinsing with milli-q water. Acetone is agin good for final washing but it hasto be very pure. After washing away acid, use glass distilled acetone and air dry in dust free place.

If cuvette has contaminated with some water soluble compounds then star washing with dil HCl and followed by air dry as it prescribed above.
