Ag2CrO4 is almost insolouble in water . it is equilibrium can be written in water

Ag2CrO4 <-------------------> 2 Ag+   + CrO4-2

in acidic medium Ag2CrO4 readily soluble . it is becuase of CrO4-2 ions readily react with H+ ions.

CrO4-2 + 2 H+   -------------------> H2CrO4

according to lechatliers principle if product concentration decreases in the product side , the reaction will shift towards product direction . so the equilibrium shifts to forward direction that means more soluble side
