1. Based on your experience, what recommendations do you have on how to use our equipment(gas chromatograph) most reliably?

The following things you should follow:

1. You will be using hydrogen carrier gas in your GC instrument. So, before turning on the instrument, check the amount of carrier gas cylinder (if it is empty, the connect a new cylinder). Open the main valve on the carrier gas cylinder to check that carrier gas is being supplied to the gas chromatograph.

2. Check if there is any leakage in the tubing system or not.

3. Turn on the instrument according to the procedure described in the Gas Chromatograph User's mannual.

4. Then perform your analysis.

5. After performing your analysis, while shutting down the instrument, perform Shutdown according to the procedure described in the Gas Chromatograph Instruction Manual.

6. Close the main valve on the carrier gas cylinder.
