A spontaneous reaction has a ________ value of ΔG and is favored by a ________ value of ΔH and a ________ value of ΔS.

Answer #1

The equation which relates ΔG, ΔH & ΔS is

ΔG=ΔH-TΔS, this equation is called Gibbs-Helmholtz equation

A spontaneous reaction is favored when ΔG value is negative and is favored when ΔH is negative value and a positive value of ΔS.

This could be known from above equation, mathematically when ΔH is negative value, ΔS is positive value the overall result i.e. ΔG will be negative value at all temperatures.
