Answer – There is given (S)-2-Chlorobutane and when it is react with Sodium methoxide NaOCH3 in acetone there is SN2 reaction occurred.

We know secondary and primary alkyl halide goes with bimolecular substitution nucleophilic reaction means SN2 reaction. We are given the secondary alkyl halide and there is also inversion of configuration and we also know in the SN2 reaction there is inversion of configuration.
