Can anyone explain why the following 1H NMR data has only one hydrogen? For example, I would assume that acetyl chloride should have 3H instead of 1H.
- acetyl chloride: 2.0 (s, 1H)
- neo-pentane: 1.0 (s, 1H)
- methyl acetate: 2.0 (s, 1H)
4.2 (s, 1H)
