The aim of Chiral phase HPLC is to separate eneatiomers which otherwise appers at same RT (retention time) in normal HPLC. When we use chiral column then both the enatiomer will interact with stationary phase which are having chiral component differently and will form diastereomeric complexes and therefore it will allow the elution of both enenatiomer at different rate. Therefore now using chiral column both enatiomer will appear at different RT. So we can see clear separation for both the enantiomers.
