The entropy for dissolving potassium chloride is positive. If a system becomes more disordered, then its entropy increases, in the case of a salt dissolving you are disordering the iones that were closely packed in the solid.

The value would be different that the expected, it will depend on the sign of the enthalpy to assume if it will go up or down. During the absorbtion of water from the solid heat has been either absorbed or released, hence the final enthalpy of the solution will change.
