Solubility of salicylic acid is water at 100 °C is 77.79 g/L (boiling water)

Thus 1 gm of salicylic acid gets dissolved in 1000 mL of solution at ice bath (0 °C )

Then how much salicylic acid will get dissolve in 10 mL of water

Amount of salicylic acid dissolved = (10*1)/1000 = 0.01 gm = 10 mg of salicylic acid will be dissolved

At boiling water temperature (100 °C) 77.79 gm of salicylic acid is dissolved per litre of solution then
