P_{1}V_{1} = P_{2}V_{2} (at
constant temperature) ; where P_{1} & V_{1} is
the initial pressure and volume of the gas

P_{2} & V_{2} is the final pressure and
volume of the gas respectively .

In the given question , P_{1} =0.75 atm , V_{1}
=2.0 L and P_{2} = 1.75 atm ,V_{2} =?

therefore , V_{2} = P_{1}V_{1} /
P_{2} = (0.75*2.0)/(1.75) L =0.86 L

So , volume of the gas is 0.86 L when pressured of the gas is increased to 1.75 atm at constant temperature .
