We have the truncated virial equations, in this case, the truncation of the higher virial coefficients limits this method to systems at low pressures. It`s bad for high vapor densities. We can apply more accurate methods like the SRK and Peng-Robinson equations, which are cubic equations and where the last is a modification of the first.
The Peng-Robinson Method is accurate, but its calculation is long and tedious, however, the truncated virial method is less accurate but easier to estimate values of HR and SR, therefore, I would prefer to use Peng-Robinson for a design project and the truncated virial equations on an exam
