Order the following salts from the most acidic to the least acidic. NaF, NaC6H5CO2, NaOH, Nal, Na3PO4

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Na3PO4 NaF NaI NaC6H5CO2 NaOH.

In the above compounds (molecules) NaOH is strong Base.

Na is the common in all, We have to look for the salts form from the corresponding Acids. Na3PO4 is from the phosphoric acid, NaF is from the HF, NaI is from the HI, NaC6H5CO2 is from the Benzoic acid.

Generally the organic acids are weak acids compaire to the Inorganic acids.
