Solution:

[Ni(H2O)6]Cl2(aq) + 6 NH3(aq) --- > [Ni(NH3)]Cl2(aq) + 6 H2O (l)

From this reaction we say that the product is Hexamminenickel (II) Chloride

Here we have to find percent yield.

We use following formula

Percent yield = (Actual yield /theoretical yield ) x 100

Here actual yield of Hexamminenickel (II) Chloride = 3.45 g

Theoretical yield of Hexamminenickel (II) Chloride = 7.5 g

Lets plug these value in above equation then we get

Percent yield = (3.45 g / 7.5 g) x 100
