Hey that's due to atmospheric carbon dioxide absorbed by KBr pellet or CCl4 liquid during the acquisition of IR spectrum and generally it is a weak to medium intensity peak, don't worry. The characteristic asymmetric stretching and bending mode of CO2 appear at 2359 cm-1 and 668 cm-1, respectively. If you do not want such peaks in future blow the pellet under dry nitrogen gas for atleast 5 minutes and immediately put in IR instrument and scan it.
