lela has 1.2 liters of 2.1 molar NACl WHAT IS THE MASS OF TABLE SALT DISSOLVED?

lela has 1.2 liters of 2.1 molar NACl WHAT IS THE MASS OF TABLE SALT DISSOLVED?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

molarity of NaCl   = 2.1M

volume of solution = 1.2liters

no of moles of NaCl   = molarity*volume in L

                                  = 2.1*1.2   = 2.52moles

mass of NaCl         = no of moles * formula weight of NaCl

                               = 2.52*58.5   = 147.42g >>>>answer
