A copper cube has a mass of 87.2g. Find the length of one edge of the cube.

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Density of copper = 8.92 gm/cm3

mass of copper = 87.2gm

volume of copper = mass/density

                        = 87.2/8.92 = 9.77cm3

edgelength a3 = v

                 a = V1/3

                    = (9.77)1/3 = 2.13 cm
