order w.r.t {BrO3-} = 1

order w.r.t {Br-} = 1

order w.r.t {H+}2 =2

Rate = k{BrO3-}{Br-}{H+}2, rate change if the concentration of BrO3- is is decreased by a factor of 2, that of Br- is is decreased by a factor of 2 and that of H+ is is decreased by a factor of 2.

Rate = K [1/2 BrO3-][1/2 Br-][1/2 H+]2

         = 1/2 X1/2 X(1/2)2

         = 0.0625 times rate will be decreases.
