Answer #1

i)Molar mass of the compound = 228g/mol

℅ of C = 47.35%

Mass of C =( 47.35/100)×228g = 107.958g

Molar mass of C = 12.01g/mol

No of mol of C = 107.958g/12.01=8.989 ~ 9mole

ii) % of H = 10.61℅

Mass of H = (10.61/100)×228g = 24.191g

Molar mass of H = 1.007g/mol

No of mole of H = 24.191g/1.007g = 24.03~ 24mole

iii) ℅ of O = 42.05℅

Mass of O = (42.05/100)×228g = 95.874g

Molar mass of O = 15.999g/mol

No of mole of O = 95.874g/15.999g = 5.992~ 6 mol

iv) Combining all the derived No of moles we are getting the formula

C9H24O6

This is molecular formula of the compound
