How do you calculate predicted yield of a hydrogenation reaction of cyclohexene to form benzene and cyclohexane? I started with 1.6 mL of cyclohexene and did a hydrogenation with palladium/carbon to get the products benzene and cyclohexane, and I'm trying to calculate expected yield. Cyclohexene is 82 g/mol and benzene is 78 g/mol and cyclohexane is 84 g/mol.
Thanks!
