Answer #1

1) the length of single bond is more then double and triple bond

Bond length order:

Single bond> double bond > triple bond

CO2 contains double bond while CO contain triple so CO2 will have longer bond

2) o3 will have shorter bond length

3) order of strength

Triple bond > double bond > single bond

C2H2 will have stronger bond as it contain triple bond

4) bond order of NO2- = 3 electrons / 2 bonding group = 1.5

NO3- = 4 electrons / 3 bonding group = 1.33

Hence NO2 - wil have more bond order

You have three circuits that include a power supply and one (or two) lightbulbs. The only variation among these circuits involves the number of lightbulbs and how the lightbulbs are wired (if there are more than one). Circuit 1: one lightbulb; Circuit 2: two lightbulbs in series; Circuit 3: two lightbulbs in parallel. Which circuit has the greatest current? a) 1 b) 2 c) 3 d) all have the same current.

*******PLEASE EXPLAIN HOW YOU GOT THE ANSWER.******** 1.) Rank the following charge/distance combinations from lowest energy to highest energy. Your answer should be a four letter "word" made up of the letters a, b, c and d. For example, if you think the order is a (lowest energy), then b, then c, then d (highest energy), you should enter the "word" abcd in the answer box. Note, the word has no spaces or commas. a) A -3 charge and a...

Assume you have two dices: one has 6 faces with letters from A to B (i.e., A, …, F) and the other has 20 faces with numbers from 1 to 20 (i.e., 1, …, 20)? We assume that the number dice is even, meaning that the number dice gives a number from 1 to 20 with the probability 1/20 of each. However, the letter dice is not even. The letter dice always gives you a letter from A to F...

consider that you need to set up a serial network, which will have one Master and four Slaves. Either SPI or I2C can be used. Every second, data has to be distributed, such that one byte is sent to Slave 1, four to Slave 2, three to Slave 3, and four to Slave 4. If the complete data transfer must take not more than 200 us, estimate the minimum clock frequency which is allowable for SPI and I2C. Assume there...

2) Allowing (or requiring) users to use numerical digits (including 0) and one of 28 “special characters” dramatically increases the number of possible passwords. Furthermore, passwords often are case-sensitive, effectively doubling the size of the alphabet by defining 52 distinct letter characters.    Assuming that passwords are case-sensitive and can include numerical digits and special characters, how many possible 6, 8 and 10 character passwords can be created?
