I did a lab and it's asking for the theoretical pH with the addition of HCl. The procedure:measure out 5.0ml of 1.0ml sodium acetate solution in a 100 ml graduated cylinder. dilute the 5.0 ml w/ water to a final volume 50.0 mL&stir.measure out 1.00ml of 1.0 M NaOH&add it to the sodium acetate solution.stir the mixture.calculate the theoretical pH.

Using the average concentration of NaOH found above, calculate the theoretical pH after 2.50 mL and 9.50 mL of NaOH has been added in both the titration of HCl and of HC2H3O2. Indicate if the volume of NaOH is before or after the equivalence point. Compare these Titration Curves theoretical values with the actual values found on the titration curves created in lab. (Hint: Use total volume of titrant (the initial and final volume on the buret) in conjunction with...

you need to prepare a buffer solution with a ph of 7.8. A lab mate tells you to use N-2- hydroxyethylpiperazine-N'-2-ethanesulfonic acid(HEPES), a sulfonic acid with a pka of 7.5. since you know that the buffer pka should be close to the desired pH, this sounds good. You make the solution according to the following recipe, which is supposed to make 600 ml of a 0.5 M solution: dissolve 0.2 moles of HEPES in 400 ml of water. add 0.1...

So I did a titration lab where were reacted various amounts of Mg with 10mL of HCL and then neutralized the raction with NaOH. I have my table of values for Mass of Mg (g), Initial Volume NaOH (mL), Final Volume NaOH (mL), End Point Volume (mL), Limiting Reagent (Mg or HCL). There is a Titration table I need to fill in that asks for Moles of Mg (mol), Moles of NaOH (mol) and Moles of H+ reacting with Mg...
