                               nA = 500/58 = 8.62 moles

no of moles of water nB = 500/18 = 27.7 moles

mole fraction of XA   = nA/nA+nB

                             = 8.62/8.62*27.7 = 0.236

mole fraction of XB = 1-XA

                           = 1-0.236 = 0.764

P   = PAXA + PBXB

   = 233*0.236 + 24*0.764

=     54.988 +18.336 = 73.324 torr ...total pressure >>>> answer
