The TLC chromatogram shows the result for a separation of a mixture of three compounds using a solvent of medium polarity. Only two spots are visible because two compounds did not separate. If spot A represents a mixture of two compounds, would you be able to separate the two components by decreasing or increasing the solvent polarity? Please explain. Sketch the TLC’s that you would expect to see if you were to develop a TLC in a) a polar solvent, and b) a solvent of low polarity.

if you just rotate it clockwise with eluent front at the top and origin at the bottom, this is what i am refering to in the question. Please help me understand what is going on. an give a clear explanation. thank you.
