a) we know that

1 US gallons = 3.785 Litres

So 36 gallons = 3.78 X 36 = 136.26 Litres

b) The recommended dose = 6mg / Kg of body mass

Person mass = 170 lb

We know that 1lb = 0.45 Kg

so 170 lb = 77.11 Kg

So dose = 6 X 77.11 mg = 462.66 mg

c) The milage given = 253 miles / 12 gallons

or 21.08 miles / gallon

We know that

1 miles / gallon = 0.425 Km / L

so 21.08 miles / gallon = 21.08 X 0.425 KMm / L = 8.96 Km / L

d) 1 pound gives = 50 cups

Let us convert pounds to grams first

1 pound = 453.5 grams

So from 453.5 grams we may obtaind = 50 cups of coffe

so coffee obtained from 4 grams = 50 X 4 / 453.5 = 0.441 cups
