Homework Answers

Answer #1

An endothermic process is a process when all the energy from surroundings or system is absorbed. in the case of an ice pack and the freezing water, they are both losing heat (lower temperature) so, these process are exothermic.

In the case of tje condensing soda, it happens the same thing, the change of phase it's from vapor to liquid, and it's losing heat. and the burning of gasoline, is an spontaneus process, and it's oxidated. It's releasing heat so it's exothermic.

So option E is the correct answer.

Hope this helps.
