For each of the following questions, write a reasonable hypothesis. If...then format A. Does the volume of a container affect how quickly water will evaporate? B. Does temperature affect the the amount of sugar that dissolves into tea? C. Does water affect the growth of a plant?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

A) If it affects it, the more space available to evaporate the water particles, these make it faster, they do not have the impediment of the space to move.

B) Yes, the solubility of solvents is affected by temperature, in this case, with the sugar in water, at a higher temperature, a greater amount of sugar is dissolved per volume of water.

C) The addition of water to a plant, favors its growth, only the necessary amount of it, since if the amount is exceeded, it can be detrimental to the growth of silver. In addition, the components that are dissolved in the water can also positively or negatively affect the growth of the plant.
