Some farmers use ammonia, nh3, as a fertilizer. This ammonia is stored in a liquid form. Use the particulate perspective to show the transition from liquid ammonia to gaseous ammonia
As we know that NH3 has a boiling point of −33.34 °C at one atmosphere pressure
therefore
above the −33.34 °C temperature at 1 atm , liquid ammonia will be converted to gaseous ammonia
or
at −33.34 °C temperature and less than 1 atm ( < 1 atm ) , liquid ammonia can be converted to gaseous ammonia.
therefore
the conversion of liquid ammonia can be given as :
NH3 (l) ------------------------------> NH3 (g) at T > −33.34 °C and P = 1 atm
or
NH3 (l) ------------------------------> NH3 (g) at T = −33.34 °C and P < 1 atm
