While in Europe, if you drive 125 km per day, how much money would you spend on gas in one week if gas costs 1.10 euros per liter and your car's gas mileage is 29.0 mi/gal ? Assume that 1euro=1.26dollars? .

1 week = 7 days

Total distance = 125 km/day * 7 day = 875 km per week

price:

--> 29 mi / gal * 1 gal / 3.78541 L * 1 km / 0.621371 mi

12.3291 km/L

then, liter required

V = D/Rate = 875 km / 12.3291 km / L = 70.97030 liters

price is:

1.1 Euro = 1 liter

70.97030 L = 1.1*70.97030 = 78.06733 euros

change to USD

1 E = 1.26 $

78.06733 E = 78.06733*1.26 = 98.3648358 USD
