The carbonyl group is a problem and an advantage in some cases since they may trigger the hydrolysis reactions. Explain.

Answer #1

As the Carbonyl function is highly polar and many types of reactions are favoured by the initiation polar Carbonyl function which increases the rate of the reaction.

In another way as the Carbonyl is the nucleophilic centre, whenever we carry other conversion at the same time the carbonyl function also interpet in between and decreases the rate and yield of the reaction, some examples are given below.

This question may be completed independently or as a group exercise. In some cases, our bipedal adaptations have changed areas of our bodies so much that it is difficult (if not impossible) for these areas to perform other functions. For example, our pelvis provides the areas of muscle attachment we need, but its unusual shape makes human childbirth more difficult. The foot is another area that reflects the impact of bipedal specialization. What foot traits and corresponding functions seen in...

Increased temperature increases the rate of all chemical reactions. However, increased temperature in some cases increases and in other cases decreases the proportion of product relative to unreacted starting material. Draw reaction energy diagrams for exergonic and endergonic reactions, and explain why in both cases higher temperature increase the reaction rate, but has opposite effect on proportion of product.

Since the end of the Great Recession, interest rates have been at historic lows—in some cases, close to zero. How is expansionary monetary policy supposed to work? How do near-zero interest rates limit the ability of expansionary monetary policy to work?

All of the students in the remedial reading group have some disruptive behaviors that may interfere with learning, such as pushing or shov- ing each other, getting out of their seat, talking while the teacher is teaching, and making loud noises. Describe the response cost procedure you will implement as part of the token econ- omy with the reading group to decrease the fre- quency of these problem behaviors.
