first calculate theoretical yield

molar mass of Ca(NO3)2 = 164.088 gm/mole then 87.5 gm of Ca(NO3)2 = 87.5 / 164.088 = 0.533 mole

According to reaction 1 mole of calcium nitrare produce 1 mole of calcium carbonate then 05333 mole of calcium nitrare produce 0.533 mole of calcium carbonate

molar mass of calcium carbonate = 100.0869 gm/mole then 0.533 mole of calcium carbonate = 0.533 X 100.0869

= 53.37 gm

53.37 gm calcium carbonate is theoretical yield

percentange yield = actual yield X 100 / theoretical yield

percentage yield of calcium carbonate = 87.69 %
