Answer #1

2NO + O2 ----------> 2NO2

1 mole of O2 react with excess of NO to gives 2 moles of NO2

32g of O2 react with excess of NO to gives 2*46g of NO2

6.49g of O2 react with excess of NO to gives = 2*46*6.49/32   = 18.66g of NO2

theoritical yield of NO2 = 18.66g

percentage yield    = atcual yield *100/theoritical yield

                                = 13.8*100/18.66     = 73.95% >>>>>>answer
