Voltaic cell is a device in which chemical energy is converted to electrical energy. Electrolytic cell converts electrical energy to chemical energy. The electrode at which oxidation takes place is the anode and reduction takes place at the cathode. In a voltaic cell, anode is negative and cathode is positive. In an electrolytic cell, anode is positive and cathode is negative. So when a voltaic cell becomes electrolytic cell, anode will be the positive terminal.
