How do collision theory and transition state theory explain the Arrhenius equation?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Actually the activation energy depends on the temperature. If the temperature increases, kinetic energy of the reacting species increases and the activation energy increases and the barrier height diminishes. This whole phenomenon explained using Arrhenius equation.
