Iodometric titration can be used for the determination of Cu in solution. In this titration, Cu is reduced by iodide ion which itself get oxidized to iodine. Here starch is used as indicator which form complex with iodine to give blue Color solution. This blue solution is then titrated with thiosulphate solution until blue Color disappeared.
