If you had added 50 mL of water to dissolve the oxalic acid dihydrate instead of 30 mL, would that require more, less, or the same amount of NaOH solution to titrate? Explain
1. oxalic acid dihydrate is more soluble in water - there is no solubility coefficient or partition coefficient problem.
2. whether we are added 50 mL or 30 mL is not a matter since the number of moles of oxalic acid is same in volumetric flask.
3. Hence that require the same amount of NaOH solution to titrate. (NaOH from Burette).
4. It would be matter if you add water to standard solution (in burette).
