According to the whistleblower provision of the False Claims Act, those who inform the government of fraudulent activity may be entitled to a commission on any monies recovered, usually in the amount of 15-25%. Do you think it is right for the government to pay people to “tattle”? Do you think that this incentive to rat people out would lead to a lot of false accusations or do you think that it encourages people to do the right thing? I think the government pays the one who truly deserves. If it stops paying the people who inform them of the fraudulent activity , nobody would be bothered enough to bring these things to them. In today's world , where everybody works for money and profit , no one works for free. If in this case government pays people who do the right things , it will motivate them to do better things in life always. Even we should try our bit and help our country grow as a unit and contribute to the society when and wherever possible.
