Answer #1

Electronegativity; The tendency to attracted the bond pair of electrons in covalent bond is called electronegativity.

Pauling scale :pauling calculate electronegativity of elements based on bond dissociation energy.

XA-XB = 0.208

XA ,XB are electronegativity of A,B element

is bond energy difference between experimental value and calculated value

   = EA-B -1/2[EA-A + EB-B]

Hydrogen is reperance element H = 2.1

                  H-F

flurine electronegative value = 4

    electronegtive difference = 4-2.1 = 1.9

Which of the following statements about how light can interact with atoms is correct? (Check all that are correct) The photons most likely to ionize atoms have the longest wavelengths An atom can most easily absorb a photon with an energy that is equal to the difference in energy of two electron states.
