Enantiomers can be separated using chiral column. While enantiomers cannot be distinguished in achiral environments. But the Chiral columns will be having chiral packing material which recognizes each enantiomer.  While One enantiomers run down the column, another enantiomer will "stick" to the stationary phase better than the other,

In other way enantiomers can be converted to diastereomer and purified by column chromatography. Diastereomers are possess different physical properties of boiling points, melting points. Hence they can be separated by conventional means such as chromatography or recrystallization.
