t-butyl alcohol is highly flammable liquud. It causes serious eye irritation and is harmful when inhaled. It may cause respiratory irritation and dizziness. So it should be stored in well ventilated cool place.

In case of spillage, avoid breathing in its vapors and wash the hands of that person continuously with water for few minutes so that it cannot penetrate in skin and gets diluted. And then wash with soap. Consult a physician as well.

And for cleaning up the bench, collect it with an electrically protected vacuum cleaner or by wet brushing and store it in a container for further disposal.
