If I have a mixture of 2 of the following 3 organic components dissolved in diethyl ether, how do I determine which are present in the mixture.

The components are:

Benzoic acid, 0.20 M

Ethyl-4-aminobenzoate, 0.20 M

Acetanilide, 0.20 M

I will have ~20 mL of the diethyl ether solution. Additionally, I will have 10% HCl 6 M HCl, 10% NaOH, 6M NaOH, saturated NaCl, and drying agent.

Thank you!

In lab we extracted benzoic acid and fluorine in a mixture with diethyl ether. I understand how benzoic acid was extracted using NaOH and then HCL but I am confuses how the fluorine was extracted once the NaOH and saturated Nacl was added.
