Aufbau principle:

According to this principle the electrons of atom or ion in ground state, First fills in lowest energy levels of orbitals. Then fills in the higher energy orbitals. In this way atom or ion gets the stable electron configuration.

Pauli exclusion principle:

The principle states that

1) Each orbital can have only two electrons.

2) The two electrons can have the different sign.

and

3) The two electrons should not have the same four quantum numbers.
