Change in gaseous mole(dN) = moles of gaseous product- moles of gaseous reactant

In reaction a. dN = 2 -(2+1) = -1

In reaction b. dN = 1- (1+1) = -1

In reaction c. dN = 1-(1+ 1/2) = -1/2

In reaction d. dN = 2-(1+1) = 0

In reaction e. dN = (2+2) - (1+ 5/2) = 1/2

dN is positive only in reaction e. Means gaseous molecule are increasing in this reaction so randomness will increase and dS will also largest for this.

Correct option is e.
