Acetaminophen and ibuprofen are both good medicines and both provide same basic relief from fever and pain even tough they have different chemical structures and side effects.

Ibuprofen works by limiting the body production of fatty acids called prostaglandins. In addition to reducing pain it also reduces inflammation.

Acetaminophen is similar to ibuprofen in reliving pain but it does not reduces inflammation it is milder in digestive tract and causes no stomach problem.

Ibuprofen has dual action it exhibits both anti-inflammatory and pain relieving action

Ibuprofen consist of an aromatic ring , acid group and alkane side chain
